Young Voices has also performed major works such as Pergolesi’s Stabat Mater, Vivaldi’s Gloria, Porpora’s Magnificat, Mahler's 8th Symphony, Karl Jenkins’ Songs of Sanctuary and John Sharpley's L'Enfant Sauvage. In 2006 the choir performed in the Opening Ceremony of the Melbourne Commonwealth Games, and in 2007 performed with world music ensemble Sirocco in the FINA World Swimming Championships cultural festival. Also in 2007 Young Voices of Melbourne won two sections of the Voyage of Song International Choir Competition in Thailand, and Mark O'Leary was awarded outstanding conductor of the festival.
