TWO-TIME ‘ENTERTAINER OF THE YEAR’ FINALISTS AT THE AUSTRALIAN EVENT AWARDS

The Leading Men’ are one of Australia’s most popular, enduring and respected corporate entertainment acts. They have entertained at hundreds of corporate, charity and private events and been hand-picked to perform for Royalty on numerous occasions.

Comprised of four award-winning stars of musical theatre, these extraordinary talents have all played leading roles in the world’s most loved musicals on the Australian stage, the international stage or both. Show highlights include selections from Beauty and the Beast, West Side Story, Jesus Christ Superstar, Singin’ in the Rain, Wicked, Les Miserables, Phantom of the Opera, Hairspray, Annie, Evita, Spamalot, A Chorus Line, and a list that goes on and on!

The Leading Men are elegance personified and from their white tuxedos to the red roses on their lapels, their sophisticated blend of humour has everyone in the audience wanting to hear more.

The Leading Men are well known for their unique ‘medley’ performances of which there are two options. The ‘Italian Medley’ is an entertaining combination of iconic Australian rock songs such as Cold Chisel’s ‘Working Class Man’ and ACDC’s ‘It’s a Long Way to the Top if You Want to Rock and Roll’ and legendary Australian ballads such as ‘Waltzing Matilda’, ‘Given me a Home among the gum Trees’ and ‘I Still Call Australia Home’ with the unique twist being that that they are all performed in Italian.

The Women’s Medley is a selection of Broadway’s most loved ballads traditionally sung by the leading ladies of musical theatre such as ‘Memory’, ‘I Don’t Know How to Love Him’ and ‘Don’t Rain on My Parade’ with some crowd favourites from the more modern musicals such as ‘Lady Marmalade’ and ‘Mama Mia’ – not only does this bring a whole new meaning to these songs but it is seen as a tribute to women everywhere!

The Leading Men can also be joined by a ‘Leading Lady’ – also a star of Australia’s musical theatre stage, not only does the leading lady lend even more elegance and sophistication to the show but this expanded version includes poignant duets such as ‘The Prayer’, ‘Time to Say Goodbye’ and ‘All I Ask of You’ from Phantom of the Opera.
