Restaurants have been a part of Pete’s life since the age of 19. He has opened seven in his time as a chef and restaurateur, including The Pantry, Hugo’s Manly and, his latest success, a contemporary tapas bar in Melbourne’s CBD, the unique Bar Nacional.

Cooking, food and lifestyle TV programs have been another of Pete’s highly successful pursuits. Starting out in 2001 as a co-presenter on the Lifestyle Channel’s Home show, his credits also include Postcards from Home, FISH, and co-host with Manu Feildel since 2009 of Channel 7’s hugely and internationally successful My Kitchen Rules. Pete’s latest TV series, Moveable Feast, showcases America’s finest artisans, producers and chefs and is currently screening in the US.

Speaking about healthy eating and wellness is another passion of Pete’s. One of Australia’s leading authorities on healthy cooking and lifestyle, he loves to share his knowledge and educate and motivate parents, children and corporate audiences. And they love him!
