A multi award-winning vocalist, songwriter, session and recording artist, Nina’s powerful, evocative voice, stunning vocal range and captivating stage presence have earned her an enviable international reputation. Nina’s musical upbringing started in Australia with the family record player. Soul, Motown, Rock & Roll, Rhythm & Blues, Country, Jazz, Pop and Classical music (her paternal grandmother was a mezzo-soprano) could all be heard rolling up the staircase in her family home. Out of the speakers came a mix of Aretha Franklin, Stevie Wonder, Dolly Parton, Elvis Presley and Luciano Pavarotti. At the age of 8 Nina took up the piano and at 14 began training as classical singer, but her passion for singing Soul, Jazz, Country and Pop took over and by the age of 16, with a dress hanging up in the back of the car, Nina’s mother would collect her at the end of her after-school job on the weekends and drive her into town where Nina would perform. Ever since those weekends of homework, part-time jobs and gigs around her beloved Australia, Nina has produced albums, toured the world performing at festivals, clubs, concerts, on TV and radio and has made guest appearances throughout the USA, Europe, Australia, Asia and the Middle East alongside such artists as Tony Bennett, Hugh Jackman, Charles Aznavour, Neil Sedaka, Gregory Porter, Jose Feliciano, Billy Ocean, Ricky Martin, Chris Botti, Dave Sanborn, Frank McComb, Gilbert O’Sullivan, Chick Corea, Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings and many more
