Cath Jamison is a Melbourne magician and mentalist whose performances combine illusion, mind-reading, storytelling and a sharp sense of humour. Her theatre training and distinctive stage style allow her to move between close-up encounters, corporate entertainment and full-length shows.
Cath trained as an actor at the John Bolton Theatre School and has worked as a performer, producer, director and magic consultant. Her projects have included In 2 Minds, I Know What You’re Thinking!, Secret Life of a Woman, Carnival of Rustic Dreams and the cabaret production Dolls, Doves & a Diva with Katie Underwood.
Her career has taken her to the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, Melbourne and Adelaide Fringe festivals, the Melbourne Magic Festival, the Famous Spiegeltent and major public events. Earlier appearances also include the Sydney Olympics, the Australian Open, Moomba, the Royal Melbourne Show and the official Harry Potter book and film launch.
Cath’s television credits include Australia’s Got Talent, A Current Affair, the Today show, Neighbours and the Melbourne International Comedy Festival Gala. She has also performed alongside Sophie B. Hawkins and appeared with leading Australian performers including Anthony Warlow and Toni Lamond.
