Clair de Lune performs original and traditional compositions, drawing influences from the classical and folk traditions of Ireland, Scotland, Spain, South America and from the Renaissance to the present day. Harpist Michael Johnson and flautist Megan Kenny have performed alongside an eclectic group of artists such as Kate Ceberano, James Morrison, The Melbourne Symphony Orchestra and the Australian Boys Choir. The rich blend of these two beautiful instruments creates a warm and sensuous ambience for any occasion.

Megan Kenny has been a professional flautist for the past 16 years. After studying in Adelaide, she toured with the Australian youth orchestra in Europe and Asia. She has performed with many orchestras including Melbourne Symphony and Opera Orchestra of South Australia.

Michael Johnson is a highly respected musician who has been composing, recording and performing music since 1978. He is the instigator of Lyrebird Music, an Australian-based music co-operative whose aim is to compose and perform original music which uplifts both the soul and the spirit. Michael plays various instruments but is probably best known for his work on the harp. He is the resident harpist at both the Melbourne and Sydney botanic gardens.
