Richard Swanson
Lyric Tenor Richard Swanson is the creative mastermind behind Broadway Meets Vegas. Richard has integrated the best elements of Broadway and Vegas, creating a show to appease the masses. Guided by Opera Victoria Director Maurice Connell, Richard learned the way of the italian opera master Paolo Silveri. With leading roles in both Australian and New Zealand Theatrical productions, including Marius in Les Miserables, Alexis Pointdexter in Gilbert and Sullivan’s The Sorcerer, Nanki-Poo in the 2005 production of the Mikado and a string of principal roles spanning two decades. Richard Swanson is a well established and seasoned performer.
JOSEPH NAIM
Accomplished theatre director and performer, Joseph brings a versatile voice that ranges from the smooth, soulful sound of R& B, to the swinging, jive resonance of Rock and Roll. He’s eclectic interest in all genre’s of music ensures an admirable performance regardless of style. Studying under the direction of Cosimo Ciccome, Joseph is a true believer in the power and beauty of singing, not only allowing his music to grow, but allowing himself to grow through his music.
Jane Elizabeth Hanley
Jane Elizabeth Hanley is known as much for her stunning vocal eclecticism as she is for her dynamic and wild performances. An accomplished live performer, singer/songwriter Jane Elizabeth Hanley studied tap, jazz, song and dance at The David Wynen School of Performing Arts. Jane holds a degree in Contemporary Dance and Music from Deakin University, returning to her musical theatre roots in ‘Broadway Meets Vegas’.
HELEN SIOBHAN FITZSIMONS
With a stage career spanning over 20 years, Helen has received many accolades for her Musical Theatre performances, with performance credits including Les Miserables, Jesus Christ Superstar, The Sound of
Music, Scrooge, Oliver and Grease. Alongside
touring
with the Royal New Zealand Ballet with key performances including Cinderella, The Nutcracker and Petrouchka, Helen holds a Bachelor of Law (LLB) from the University of Otago.
Karolina Biel
Branded ‘the showgirl’, co-founder and co-creator of Broadway Meets Vegas, Karolina Biel brings a wealth of experience to the BMV stage. Combining elements from her Ultimate Kylie Show, Karolina shines as featured Guest Performer in the BMV Vegas program, bringing an added element to the BMV act.
Tracy Tuhakaraina
International singing sensation Tracy Tuhakaraina recently completed a 3 year contract in Singapore and Australiasia playing Nala and Sarabi in Disney Theatricals professional production of The Lion King.
With performances spanning over 5 countries including Club Cabaret Japan, The Island Queen Cruise boat, supporting acts for Brian McKnight and Mark Holden, soul diva Tracy is sure to impress.
Cassandra Beckitt Bio
Soprano Cassandra Beckitt joins forces with Broadway Meets Vegas to reveal the voice of an angel. Having studied classical voice at the Tasmanian Conservatorium of Music, Cassandra has performed in such stage productions as "Chess" (Svetlana), "Shout"
(Marianne O'Keefe) and most recently "The Witches of Eastwick" as Jane Smart. Cassandra is a highly sought-after vocal tutor and musical director.
