Recently, when performing at a function for members of the Jewish Community - Billy’s repertoire was a mix of popular ballads and up-tempo numbers. He wowed his audience by moving around them, introducing the numbers and engaging them in his act in a playful way. They came to life; smiling, clapping and singing.
Halfway through his repertoire, Billy disconnected his backing tapes and had the audience spell-bound with unaccompanied, moving renditions of: My Yiddishe Momma and Danny Boy.
