Polkadot + Moonbeam is a jazz duo that brings a romantic twist to an intimate and quirky instrumentation of ukulele, melodica and acoustic bass. Named after Frank Sinatra's first hit song with the Tommy Dorsey Orchestra in 1940, Polkadot + Moonbeam performs a repertoire of jazz and evergreen classics, from luscious ballads to lively swing numbers and latin grooves. This jazz duo is perfect for:

Polkadot + Moonbeam was formed in 2010 in Sydney. Award-winning singer-songwriter Juliet Pang (vocals/ukulele/melodica) had been active for over 10 years both as a recording artist and in musical theatre. Didi Mudigdo (vocals/ukulele/bass) had just returned from a four-year adventure of performing in Japan, China and Southeast Asia with fellow travelling musicians from USA, Europe and Brazil. Discovering their unique musical synergy when they first met in Sydney, Juliet and Didi formed Polkadot + Moonbeam, and have since performed acclaimed shows at jazz venues and festivals in Australia, Singapore and Malaysia.
