Alastair has played Chaplin's little tramp character for almost 20 years and has performed around the world. Originally hired to be Chaplin by Warner Bros between 1993 and 2001, Alastair later joined Universal Studios Japan for the opening season 2001-2003.

Alastair has played Chaplin in a TV commercial and his portrayal was approved by the Chaplin estate. Alastair performs as Chaplin hundreds of times a year throughout Australia and Asia at corporate events, festivals and other family shows. Recent gigs include the Singapore Grand Prix performing to tens of thousands of guests.
