Whether it be performing acoustic top 40 tunes for nightclubs or playing jazz in intimate settings, Dan’s repertoire is vast with literally thousands of songs in memory ready to play at request - always with the aim of playful entertainment & genuine connection with his audience.
Dan’s show can either be “accompanied” by live backing tracks for a more energetic approach, or it can be stripped back for a more subtle performance depending on the atmosphere required.
A devoted musician and entertainer with roots in pop, rock , funk and jazz.
Has performed in Melbourne venues regularly since 1996 in various groups and works extensively in his own band The Big Bang (solo through to 10 piece line ups) as well as with other established musicians and artists such as Jimmy Couples, Phil Turcio, Marcel Yammouni (Vanessa Amorosi Band), Natalie Gauci (Australian Idol), Karl Lewis (Savage Garden), Paul Haymes (Adam Thompson/ Chocolate Starfish) , and even recently had the pleasure of jamming on stage with 5-time Grammy award winning bassist Victor Wooten.
He has also showcased his singing and songwriting skills for Warner Music Publishing (Melbourne and Sydney) and EMI (Melbourne) and continues to write for other artists.
