Soul Chic is a Melbourne ensemble built around the blended vocals of Nardia and Georga. The group moves from jazz, blues and soul through funk and contemporary favourites, reshaping familiar songs with its own vocal and musical style.
The lineup can expand from a compact trio to a full band of up to ten musicians. That flexibility allows Soul Chic to create relaxed music for a ceremony or dinner, then build towards a lively dance floor for a wedding, corporate function or festival.
Across the band’s history, its musicians have worked with performers including Daryl Braithwaite, Ray Charles, Michael Bublé, Gotye, Xavier Rudd, Jessica Mauboy and Taxiride. Soul Chic has also performed at Melbourne festivals and pre-show events connected with P!nk, Beyoncé and Neil Diamond.
