This gave her an amazing musical apprenticeship that continues
to evolve almost 40 years later.
She is one of only a handful of “child stars” to sustain such

(14 x Platinum in Australia, a year after release could be found in 1 in 4 Australian homes), In Deep (the follow-up ARIA #1 album), Just Me, more recently there was Reset
(which was Platinum within weeks, features 4 hit singles and was in the top 50 for 5 consecutive months) and the beautiful concept albums Love & Loss,
paying tribute to her favourite songs (which went double Platinum in Australia),
and her latest album Eleven, debuting at #1 on the Australian Artists ARIA Chart,
#2 on the main chart and was GOLD in a matter of weeks
There’s been her extraordinary parallel pop career in her adopted home of France, where she’s sold over 4 million records and received that country’s highest cultural honour,
a Knighthood of the Order of National Merit – a first for any Australian artist.
Then there’s the stints as a music theatre star on the West End in London and the critically acclaimed national symphonic tours with an unprecedented
18 sold-out shows.
Away from music, in 2005, Tina became a mother to son Gabriel.
Other career highlights include, being the first woman to win the ARIA for
“Album of the year", opening the Sydney Olympics to a global audience of 3 billion people, Mo, People’s Choice and World Music Awards, duets with luminaries from Stevie Wonder to Bocelli and the late Donna Summer, and last year Tina was voted by her peers as
“the Greatest Australian Female Vocalist of all time”

Song-writer, record producer, concert-promoter, co-author (her biography Now I Can Dance is in its 4th reprint), and humanitarian (as an ambassador for Barnardos focusing on child protection and also for Soldier On, to help returning services men and women).
In 2015 Tina was inducted into the ARIA Hall of Fame, with a performance and speech that will go down in Australian music history.
In 2016 Tina was awarded an Order of Merit in Australia,
for her contribution to the arts and charitable services.
