Founders of ‘Phly Crew’, the ever enthusiastic James Barry (JB) and Neale Whittaker founded this unique Hip-Hop crew when performing together at Luna Park Sydney in 2009.

Both JB and Neale attended full-time dance courses at Urban Dance Centre and Ev & Bow Full-Time Dance Training Centre respectively, not only extending their experience and exposure to various styles of dance but also taking the time to create their own fresh fusion of Hip hop which makes ‘Phly Crew’ so eclectic.

This fresh, Phly style also earned JB and Neale places in the top 100 of season 3 ‘So You Think You Can Dance’.

In 2011, 'Phly Crew' represented Australia in the Hip-Hop International championships in Las Vegas, were they competed against the best Hip-Hop dance crews in the world. In 2010 the well-known Hip-Hop competition 'Looze Control' handed over the title of Australia’s Best Dance Crew to 'Phly crew'.

2012 saw Phly crew gain national exposure as they stepped on the stage of Australia’s Got Talent. This has led to a huge influx of bookings and put Phly crew in high demand for performing, hosting and teaching.

'Phly crew' has found an enthusiastic audience on YouTube. They have been posting videos of Choreography, recent shows and 'just them being them', which keeps all the 'Phly crew' fans up to date with what’s going on in the life of a successful Hip-Hop Crew who are trying to break the borders of this industry.

JB and Neale endeavor to take Phly crew to new heights, entertaining audiences of all ages and teaching aspiring dancers to be ‘So Phly’.
