The Clares perform as a five or six piece acoustic band who, having honed their musical skills individually over many years, united to form a fabulous, authentic Irish band.
Since their formation they have been playing to packed houses all over Victoria. One of their career highlights, to date, was a two week showcase in Singapore where they performed at a major hotel.
With the incomparable voice of Louise Dempsey on lead vocals, the band performs a seamless blend of Irish, Celtic and contemporary music.
Their repertoire ranges from unpronounceable, traditional Irish tunes, to the latest hits from U2, Crowded House and the Indigo Girls.
Incorporating a fascinating blend of musical styles from traditional instrumental pieces and ballads, to contemporary pop, rock and jazz.
The band never fails to get you on your feet dancing or crying in your beer – sometimes both!
