Born and raised on the sunny coast of Western Australia, Scooby began receiving artistic recognition when he was just 8 years old, being cast in a small production with a local theatre academy. He naturally excelled on stage, progressing from dramatic arts through to musical and physical theatre. In which, he both demonstrated his exceptional talent for music and acquired a number of skills in the areas of stage combat and stunts through his study of martial arts.

Scooby was awarded a music scholarship to study at College, with which he performed in a number of big bands and solo performances; winning competitions in both categories.

Through his love for entertaining crowds, his fascination with the beauty and intricacy of the arts and the physicality that came with performing, Scooby found circus.

Training under the wing of the late Dr. Reg Bolton and at the West Australian Circus School, Scooby quickly exceeded his teachers in the art of juggling. He soon gained the title of Master Manipulation Trainer at both the nationally recognized West Australian Circus School and the West Coast Circus School. Scooby has travelled around Australia, invited as a guest trainer and performer at countless conventions, festivals and circus-related events.

Scooby is a choreographer, director, lead juggler and headline solo performer in numerous large-scale stage productions and events. Touring Australia, he has had the opportunity to perform for CircusOz, the Perth International Arts Festival, Fremantle International Buskers and Street Arts Festival and has also performed as Head Juggler under the Lavis Brothers Circus Big Top.
