·One of the most influential performers in Australian comedy, the creator and star of Wogs Out of Work and Acropolis Now, studied Drama and Psychology at Rusden State College before embarking on stand-up comedy, dramatic acting and writing.

·Hits include the feature film Shooting Elizabeth opposite Jeff Goulblum, Stiff with David Wenham and as Salvador Dali in the stage play Hysteria.

·He has worked as a writer in Madrid for CANAL PLUS, Europe’s largest cable network.

·Theatre work includes The Rover (MTC) Hanie Rayson's Competitive Tenderness and Tobsha Lerner’s SNAG.

·He wrote and directed the short film The Usual acclaimed at the St Kilda Film Festival.

·Wrote and performed an episode of Smallest Room in the House for ABC, directed a flamenco version of Lorca’s The House of Bernarda Alba at the Malthouse Theatre and, with George Kapiniaris, performed the New York comedy hit Gangster Apparel.

·He has starred in The Games (ABC) American series Ponderosa and the feature film La Spagnola.

·Lately he has been touring the country cooking paella on stage in the hilarious Palomares Cooks Calamares.

·Simon has just returned from the U.S. where he has been performing stand-up at the Boston Club in New York and in Montreal, Canada.

·This was followed by a successful two week season headlining on Show Us Your Roots at the Sidney Opera House.
