The Melbourne Musicians Chamber Orchestra are one of Australia's leading chamber orchestras with a wide repertoire from the 18th century to present day, including several Australian composers.

The orchestra has premiered works by Melbourne composers George Dreyfus and Michael Easton and recently performed a concerto for string orchestra by Margaret Sutherland. Many of Melbourne’s leading musicians have performed as soloists, as have internationally recognised expatriates such as the violinist Elizabeth Walfisch and guitarist Slava Grigoryan.

Members of the chamber orchestra regularly perform with the MSO, ASO, Victoria State Orchestra and Australian Pops Orchestra.

The Melbourne Musicians have presented subscription concerts in the National Gallery of Victoria and since 1992 at St Johns Southgate. They have also performed for other organisations, such as The Australian Boy’s Choir, Royal Philharmonic Choir, Melbourne Chorale, etc.
