Aniki has pushed through Brisbane’s underground to become one of the city’s most diverse, devoted and popular DJs. The self-confessed genre-hopper Aniki is currently focusing on breaks, electro-tech, drum’ n’ bass, twisted disco, booty-bass and shades of r ‘n’ b. Attacking the decks with an upfront, up-tempo style that demands any crowd’s attention, Matt’s quick mixes, catchy hooks and acappella layering ensures full-blown dance-floor antics for everyone, every time.

Aniki has rocked thousands at the festivals, such as Livid, Splendour In The Grass, The Big Day Out, Good Vibrations and more. He has also featured on Triple J’s Mix Up and entertained The Chemical Brothers, Groove Armarda, Death In Vegas and Destiny’s Child after their concerts. Recently, other notable supports have included; Goldfrapp, Freq Nasty, Krafty Kuts, The Streets, Kruder & Dorfmiester, Ms Kitten and the Hacker, Ben Sims, Chester Beatty, Ubar Tmar, Resin Dogs and Kid Kenobi amongst many others.

An active event promoter and resident at many of Brisbane’s best clubs, Aniki was recently voted Brisbane’s preferred local DJ on the web’s InTheMix.com.au. He also tours regularly hitting Melbourne, Syndey and The Gold Coast always playing to big, up for it crowds with his spectacular tunes.

Aniki has also recorded and remixed the Queensland Symphony Orchestra and performed an original score with the Royal Queensland Ballet, in the first ever DJ/Ballet collaboration on record.
